Brett & Chris Complete Advanced HVAC Training in Maine

At West Sound Comfort Systems, we believe that to be at the top of our game means to never stopping learning. Our technicians are constantly learning and keeping up on training because HVAC technology is always evolving.

That’s why we’re proud to share that two of our experienced HVAC technicians, Brett and Chris, recently traveled across the country to attend a premier continuing education program at the MEMA Technical Education Center (MTEC) in Maine.

MTEC is known nationwide for its hands-on, high-level instruction in heating and cooling systems. Brett and Chris spent five intensive weeks immersed in oilheat systems—working directly with industry experts, sharpening their troubleshooting skills, and staying up to date on the latest equipment and techniques.

Why go so far for training? Because we’re committed to making sure our team has access to the best resources available, so our customers get the best service possible.

Here’s what Brett and Chris had to say about the experience:

“MTEC has a great hands-on learning environment with awesome instructors. Being able to listen, then do the work, is the best way to learn.”
—Chris

“I chose MTEC because it looked like a robust program to jump-start my understanding of heating oil.”
—Brett

We’re proud of Brett and Chris for going the extra mile (literally!) to bring this valuable knowledge back to our customers here in Kitsap County. This is just one more way we’re investing in our team so you can stay comfortable all year long.

Congratulations Brett and Chris on your accomplishment — and thank you for being part of our team!
